Data analysis underlines that, apart basal differences between LXRαβ +/+ and LXRαβ −/− mice in the mRNA abundance of IL6 and TNFα, no significant modifications in the expression of cytokine and growth factor profiles were observed during liver regeneration within the different genotypes and treatments. Cyclophilin was used as reference gene and values were normalized to data obtained from LXRαβ +/+ sham operated mice under vehicle treatment.
