Errata

This article corrects:

  1. Curcumin inhibits hepatic protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1B and prevents hypertriglyceridemia and hepatic steatosis in fructose-fed rats Volume 51, Issue 5, 1555–1566, Article first published online: 15 January 2010

In the May 2010 issue of HEPATOLOGY, regarding the original article “Curcumin Inhibits Hepatic Protein-Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B and Prevents Hypertriglyceridemia and Hepatic Steatosis in Fructose-Fed Rats” (HEPATOLOGY 2010;51:1555-1566), there is an error on page 1557. In line 5 of “Histological Analysis of Liver” section, “Renal biopsy specimens…” should be corrected as “Liver biopsy specimens…”. There is also an error in Fig. 2E on page 1559, where the liver histological section of “FRC+Pio (10 mg/kg)” group in the lower left panel was inadvertently a duplicate of the histological section of the “CTR+Veh” group. The correct liver histological section of the “FRC+Pio (10 mg/kg)” group is shown below and the correction does not change the conclusion of the results. 2E
