Woodchuck amino acid (aa) sequence was aligned with the protein sequence of the human, rat and mouse TGF-β1 molecules. The homology between the four species is significantly high. The TGF-β1 mature protein includes aa 290 to 390; we found that hTGF-β1 differs from wTGF-β1 in only one aa.|
