Abstract

The substantial morbidity and mortality associated with Crohn's disease underlines the importance of accurate assessment at presentation, during follow-up, when investigating complications, and when evaluating the response to therapeutic interventions. Accurate methods are required to quantify the severity and extent of disease. (Inflamm Bowel Dis 2011;)
