First, we have to report Claire Hughes' departure as Editor. We wish to express our deep gratitude to Claire for her immense contribution to ICD over the last five years. Claire has played a substantial role in ensuring the journal's success and has been as fine a colleague as one could wish for. It has been a great pleasure working with Claire and we shall miss her.
We are pleased to report that the journal has seen an increase in good submissions across a broad range of areas—so much so that we have felt the need to expand our editorial team to include two Associate Editors, Anna Franklin and Danielle Ropar. Anna is a Senior Lecturer at Surrey University and has interests in many aspects of infant and child development, but especially the early development of colour perception and cognition. Danielle is a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham University and her research addresses various aspects of autism, but has focused in particular on visual processing in people with autism. We're delighted that they have joined the editorial team at ICD. Welcome, Anna and Danielle!
