Glee I. Wahlquist, RN, PhD, is currently assistant professor and coordinator of the neurological specialty in the graduate program of Yale University's School of Nursing Medical-Surgical Nursing Program. She is also the clinical specialist in the multiple sclerosis clinic. West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital, West Haven. CT. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT, and her master's in nursing and doctoral degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A strong supporter of nursing research, Dr. Wahlquist has recently completed a three-group experimental study dealing with urinary tract infection in adults being treated with intermittent catheterization.
