53.3: A Shifting Holographic Fabrication for Switchable LC/Polymer Fresnel Lens

Abstract

A novel holographic exposure technique for switchable cylindrical structure LC/polymer Fresnel lens is proposed. The one dimension Fresnel pattern can be achieved by interfering two planar and spherical wave fronts with a shifting slit. In this simple fabrication process, the Fresnel pattern is easy to control and the mask is not needed compare to the conventional process. The optical property of the lens is confirmed.
