Abstract

A fully-printed organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) array (30times30) and integrated circuits including logic and ring oscillator circuits based on pseudo-CMOS inverter were fabricated on plastic film substrates by using printing methods. The printed OTFT array exhibited excellent, uniform performance with a high mobility of 2 cm2/Vs. The printed flip-flop circuit operated well with a delay time of 3.5 ms. The printed three-stage ring oscillator operated at 400 Hz and 40V. These fabrication techniques are applicable to flexible displays, RFID tags and biosensors.
