    • Ali S. Kadi, MAOM, is a retired Navy Senior Chief with 25 years of honorable active military services and 4 years of government service as a logistics manager. He served on board five U.S. ships: USS Midway (CV-41), USS Saratoga (CV-60), USS Independence (CV-62), USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), and USS George Washington (CVN-73), and multiple forward deployed naval fleets and shore bases around the globe. His awards consist of five Navy-Marine Commendation medals, five Navy-Marine Achievement medals, Joint Commendation Service medal, Sailor of the Year, four Humanitarian Services ribbons, and other medals and commendations. After his retirement in 2009, he was rehired by the U.S. Navy as a government employee at Dam Neck Base, Virginia Beach, as a logistics manager. Dr. Beier founded Susanne Parente Associates, a counseling firm consulting with educational and corporate clients (Fortune 500 companies). She has taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate level for 10 years. She is also a doctoral dissertation chair at the University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies and sits on several dissertation committees.
