Cover: Virgin polystyrene (PS) and two PS-clay nanocomposites of different structure were dissolved in CS2. Differential scanning calorimetry was used to study the effect of clay on the gelation and gel melting. An effect was only detected for a nanocomposite with an intercalated structure. The gels prepared by isothermal annealing and continuous cooling showed markedly different melting behavior. Further details can be found in the article by K. Chen, A. N. Baker, and S. Vyazovkin* on page 2367.
