Cover: The upper left panel shows a polymer gradient solution being deposited from a syringe onto a glass slide. The colored panel (FTIR microspectroscopy) depicts the composition of the PLLA-PDLLA composition gradients that were made (blue corresponds to PDDLA-rich regions, orange to PLLA-rich regions). The bottom panels are crossed polar images taken in 10 mm intervals across the gradients showing the change in spherulite morphology as the composition changes from PDLLA-rich (amorphous) to PLLA-rich (crystalline).
