Cover: Titanium complexes containing triaryloxoamine ligands of the type, TiX-[(OArCH2)3N], exhibited notable catalytic activity for ethylene polymerization in the presence of MAO, especially at higher temperatures. The activity further increased upon the addition of a small amount of AIMe3, and dissociation of the one σ bond to generate the catalytically active species occurred.

Further details can be found in the Communication by W. Wang, M. Fujiki, and K. Nomura* on page 504.
