      Cover: The inaugural US-Mexico Symposium on Advances in Polymer Science, MACROMEX 2008, took place in Los Cabos, Mexico. This first bi-national conference was the result of a joint effort of the Mexican Polymer Society and the Polymer Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society.

      The cover is taken from the article of A. Licea-Claveríe et al., p. 56, and shows the synthetic scheme for the preparation of polymeric stars with polyNIPAAm arms and crosslinked core by use of the RAFT-methodology.
