Abstract

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is classically characterized by the presence of symptoms or signs of upper and lower motor neuron impairment and sparing of other neuronal systems.1 We report on a patient who was primarily diagnosed as typical ALS and developed chorea 10 years after the onset of motor neuron signs. © 2002 Movement Disorder Society.
