Superconvergence of fully discrete splitting positive definite mixed FEM for hyperbolic equations

Abstract

In this article, we use a splitting positive definite mixed finite element procedure to solve the second-order hyperbolic equation. We analyze the superconvergence property of the mixed element methods with discrete-time approximation for the hyperbolic equation.
