Joanna C. Dunlap, CPT, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. She coordinates the Designing and Implementing Web-based Learning Environments online certificate program (http://www.cudenver.edu/ilt/wle) and is an active faculty member in the Information and Learning Technologies master's program and the Educational Leadership and Innovation doctoral program, working primarily with students interested in online education, instructional strategies for post-secondary and adult learners, and faculty development. Her teaching and research interests focus on the use of situated learning and social constructivist approaches to enhance learners' development and experience, web resources as performance-support and knowledge-management tools, and the design of online courses and programs. She is currently President of the Front Range Chapter of ISPI and may be reached at Joni.Dunlap@cudenver.edu.
