Poly(N-Isopropylacrylamide, NIPAM) propagating radicals add to acrylic acid (AA) macromonomer and methacrylic acid polymer containing unsaturated ω-end-group to respectively give novel graft copolymer (represented as • (AA) and ○ (NIPAM) units) and addition fragmentation chain transfer (AFCT).
