New route for synthesize block copolymers containing poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) backbone and polyvinyl acetate or poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) side chains is developed. The side-chain density and length can be adjusted with the benefit of using living radical polymerization method.
