A reconstructed 3D image of the polymeric membrane consisting of poly(amidoamine) dendrimer and crosslinked poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is depicted on the cover and presented in the article by Ikuo Taniguchi, Shingo Kazama, and Hiroshi Jinnai on page 1156. PEG-rich and PAMAM-rich phases are colored in green and yellow, respectively (35 × 35 × 30 μm). Formation of a bicontinuous structure upon macrophase separation of PEG and PAMAM is captured by laser-scanning confocal microscope, and the resulting polymeric membrane shows excellent CO2 separation performance over H2.
