The Chemical Safety Board (CSB) is an independent federal agency charged with investigating serious chemical accidents. CSB strives to be a leader in the online communication of safety information and recommendations. The web site reflects our ongoing commitment to effectively outreach to business people, workers, and communities who share our goal of preventing chemical accidents and saving lives.
