Abstract

In September, 1985, Union Carbide established a new, comprehensive corporate-level audit program. The development of this program included careful consideration and incorporation of current and emerging practices in the field of health, safety, product responsibility and environmental auditing. Union Carbide's efforts in this area are but one element of its overall health, safety and environmental management system.
