      In their article on pp. 177ff., K. Yamashita et al. investigate a two-dimensional, spatially separated and density imbalanced electron–hole gas model. Using BCS-type mean field theory they find that the long-range Coulomb interaction is fairly efficient for the realization of the Fulde-Ferrel state due to the order parameter mixing effect. The cover figure presents the order parameter in momentum space. This clearly shows the mixed-wave order parameter.

      For the first time, A. Uddin et al. measured the doping effect on exciton behaviours in amorphous tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato) aluminum (Alq3) films and describe it in their article on pp. 80ff. The picture shows the photoluminescence decay curve in Alq3:DCM films for three different doping concentrations compared to pure Alq3. The exciton recombination rate was found to sharply increase with doping while the exciton lifetime was reduced.
