ptr_4779_sm_f1.tifTIFF image1406KSupplementary data. Effect of the ethanol extract of Adenophora triphylla var. japonica (EAT) on lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells. (A) 3T3-L1 cells were treated with EAT at various concentrations (12.5–100 µg/ml) for 24 h. Cell viability was determined by the MTT assay. Post-confluent 3T3-L1 cells were differentiated in the absence or in the presence of EAT for 8 days. (B) Triglyceride content was quantified by measuring absorbance. Data are expressed as means ± S.D. where P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. (C) Lipid droplets were measured by Oil Red O staining.
