Abstract

It is shown that the recurrence relations previously derived by the present authors, connecting fully correlated Gaussians to which even powers of the interparticle distances have been appended, are also applicable when these distances appear as odd powers. Implications of this demonstration for the description of electron correlation in few-body systems are also reviewed. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2006
