Ein neues Oxomanganat(II): BaMn₂O₃

Abstract

Die bisher unbekannte Verbindung BaMn₂O₃ wurde dargestellt und an Einkristallen untersucht. BaMn₂O₃ kristallisiert orthorhombisch (Raumgruppe D–Immm; a = 1096,7, b = 438,5, c = 355,2 pm). Die Strukturaufklärung ergab einen neuen Bautyp für AB₂O₃-Verbindungen.

Abstract

A New Oxomanganate(II): BaMn₂O₃

The hitherto unknown compound BaMn₂O₃ was prepared and investigated by single crystal X-ray diffractometer data. BaMn₂O₃ crystallizes with orthorhombic symmetry (space group: D–Immm, a = 1096.7, b = 438.5, c = 355.2 pm). The research yielded a new structure type for AB₂O₃ compounds.
