Laura Zeidenstein received her BA from The Evergreen State College in 1976, her BSN from Downstate Medical Center in 1986, and her MSN and nurse-midwifery education from Yale University in 1988. She is currently in clinical practice at University Hospital Health Science Center at Brooklyn Midwifery Practice in Brooklyn, New York. She serves on the Peer Review Committee, Region 2, Chapter 1, and on the ACNM Ad Hoc Committee on AIDS. Ms. Zeidenstein is a member of ACNM, MANA, and the National Women's Health Network.
