[1] In the paper “Relativistic particle acceleration in the process of whistler-mode chorus wave generation” by Yuto Katoh and Yoshiharu Omura (Geophysical Research Letters, 34, L13102, doi:10.1029/2007GL029758), a number of errors appear. They are given, along with the paragraph numbers and line location, in the following.
[2] In paragraph [5], the second sentence, “which dominate 67%” should be “which constitutes 67%.”
[3] In paragraph [9], the third sentence, “maximal amplitude of wave magnetic field of the chorus emission reaches 2 × 10−4B0” should be “maximal amplitude of the wave electric field of the chorus emission reaches 2 × 10−4cΩeo, which corresponds to the magnetic field amplitude 2 × 10−3 Bo.”
[4] In paragraph [14], the fourth sentence, “ d(ν∥ − VR)/dt = ωt2 (sin ζ + S)/k” should be “d2ζ / dt2 = ωt2 (sin ζ + S)” and “ωt =
