AGU has selected new editors for the Journal of Geophysical Research—Atmospheres. The new editors are James Dye (National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, Colo.), physical meteorology, and Kenneth Gage (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Aeronomy Laboratory, Boulder, Colo.), dynamic meteorology. Shaw Liu (NOAA, Aeronomy Laboratory, Boulder, Colo.), the editor for atmospheric chemistry, will continue as editor in chief.
Authors are invited to send papers to any of the three editors. In practice, Dye will edit papers in atmospheric electricity, cloud physics, and meteorological instrumentation. Gage will be editor for papers in atmospheric dynamics, radiation and climate, and remote sensing. Liu will edit papers on atmospheric chemistry. Interdisciplinary papers that fall within more than one of the above areas can be sent to any appropriate editor.
