Research opportunities sponsored by the Space Physics Division of NASA's Office of Space Science and Applications are currently becoming available. This article outlines the programs, which include the division's research and analysis support programs, U.S. participation in the Soviet ACTIVE and REGATTA-EQUATOR programs, and a general space plasma physics guest-investigator program (see Table 1). These programs will be described in detail in a series of NASA Research Announcements (NRA's) and an Announcement of Opportunity (AO) scheduled for release soon.
