GRSFE data available on PDS node

The Geosciences Node of the Planetary Data System (PDS) has released Archive Version 1.0 of the Geologic Remote Sensing Field Experiment (GRSFE) to the community. The archive occupies a set of nine CDROMs, written in the ISO 9660 Standard, that contains all of the data and documentation for the archive.

GRSFE was co-sponsored by the NASA Planetary Geology and Geophysics Program and the NASA Geology Program. Approximately 50 scientists from eight universities and three NASA centers participated in the experiment. The experiment included an airborne and a field campaign in which data were acquired in 1989 for geologic targets in the Lunar Crater Volcanic Field, Nev., and the Mojave Desert, Calif.
