Agricultural Chemicals and Water Quality Session

Authors

Abstract

Agricultural chemicals and water quality was the topic of a special session at AGU's 1993 Spring Meeting in Baltimore. The topic is of current interest because of the presence of agricultural chemicals in some water bodies. Large efforts are underway by industry, the agricultural community, and regulatory agencies to develop plans that will reduce water-resource exposure. This special session included eleven oral and five poster presentations and featured a mix of scientists from industry, government, and academic sectors.
