Abstract

“Electric Space: Our Earth-Sun Environment,” an exhibit developed by AGU, examines the Earth's atmosphere, the Sun's atmosphere, and the fascinating and highly active area between. It will be on display at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore, just a few blocks away from the Convention Center, during the Spring Meeting.

The exhibit demonstrates that space is filled with high energy particles, magnetic fields, and rarefied gas. It consists of six modules, which focus on engaging, interactive components of various facets of space science as well as specific take-home messages geared toward visitors of all ages.
