2000 Florida Avenue has undergone its metamorphosis: The AGU headquarters building is once again a hub of activity and on its way to becoming the center of geophysical science in Washington.
Indeed, less than 2 years after vacating its old premises, AGU has returned home to find things are happening in the neighborhood. A new 75-foot-high, brick-and stone-faced building, which maximizes use of the AGU lot, has emerged on the scene to help take AGU into the next millennium.
