For the Space Physics and Aeronomy Section, seven presentations were named Outstanding Student Papers at the AGU 1994 Spring Meeting.

Lee Bennett presented “Steady-State Hybrid Simulations of Quasi-Parallel Shocks.” Bennett is a doctoral candidate in physics at North Carolina State University, from which he also received his B.S. in physics. His current research interest is simulations of particle acceleration at collisionless, astrophysical shocks.
