AGU Front Range Meeting draws a crowd

Authors

Abstract

Student involvement was high at the 1995 annual Front Range Branch AGU meeting, held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins earlier this year. A number of professors incorporated the meeting into their class agendas, and student presenters represented universities from the Front Range Rocky Mountain area and from as far away as Puerto Rico.

The 2-day meeting was highlighted by a panel discussion on “Scientific Issues in Developing countries,” which served as the theme of the second day of the meeting. The convener of the meeting was Jorge A. Ramirez of Colorado State University.
