Members of the scientific community encounter many difficulties when trying to access data across national borders, much of which is crucial to their research. New difficulties are arising with the increase in the consolidation of international, multidisciplinary data to address global problems such as environmental degradation. A new study has been organized to seek solutions to this worldwide problem. Input from the scientific community is solicited.
