Water resources professionals discuss challenges ahead for the 21st century

Authors

Abstract

Water resources engineers, hydrologists, and attorneys from academia, government, and the private sector engaged in a lively analysis of the state of water resources planning and management and future challenges at a strategic retreat held in Washington, D.C., from March 10 to 11, 1996. A “visioning” break-out group provided recommendations on how to adjust to the challenges facing water resources professionals as we approach the next millennium.
