Scattering and absorption of E- and H-polarized plane waves by a circularly curved resistive strip

An analytical-numerical method of analysis is presented for two-dimensional wave diffraction by an open circular resistive strip. The method is based on the dual series equations regularization approach and results in algorithms with accuracy limited only by a computer's digital precision. Scattering and absorption cross sections are computed as functions of frequency for lossless and lossy strips.
