Summary

Adults of Ayersacarus tilbrooki, n. sp., and the immature stages of Cyrtolaelaps (Gamasellus) racovitzai (Trouessart) are described and illustrated. Zercon tuberculatus Trägårdh is the protonymph of C. (G.) racovitzai. Comments on the genus Ayersacarus and recognition characters for the species of mesostigmatic mites from the Antarctic are included.
