Summary

Benthic Ostracoda (Myodocopina: Cypridinacea) from the South Shetland Islands and the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica, are described, including 5 new species. Cypridinacea described from within the Antarctic Convergence by earlier authors were reexamined; supplementary descriptions of some of these are presented, and some are referred to different species. The data suggest depth zonation of Ostracoda in antarctic waters.
