The first building on the new campus, a research laboratory, is now under construction. Other units planned for the suburban Portland site include a library, commons building, administration building, auditorium, two classroom buildings, a physical chemistry building, physics laboratory, chemistry laboratory, and two student-faculty office buildings. The objective of the program is to achieve the minimum size for producing 50 graduates a year.
