An international Symposium on Coastal Geodesy will be held in Munich, Germany, July 20–24, 1970. The opening session will be held at the Bavarian Academy of Science. Other work sessions will take place at the Technical University of Munich. The purpose of the conference is to bring oceanographers and geodesists together for discussions on sea-level observations and calculations and the possible use of artificial satellites in coastal geodesy.
