Abstract

The Ohio State University will host its Fourth Summer Institute in Geodetic Science between June 8 and 12, 1970. The planned topic is ‘Geodetic Science, 1965–1975.’ The course will cover, through lectures and discussions, activities over the last five years and projections for the next five years. The main topics will include concepts in gravity-data analysis, developments in the determination of the external gravitational field of the earth, developments in position determination methods on a continental and global basis, implications for solid earth geophysics and oceanography and selenodesy.
