Abstract

In response to the growing complexity and diversity of natural resources planning, the Corps of Engineers, Board of Engineers for Rivers and Harbors has established a resident scholar program. Eligible for participation in the program are scholars representing a broad range of disciplines and specialties related to water resources planing including, but not limited to, economics, political and other social sciences, geography, ecology and environmental planning, systems analysis and operations research, and urban and regional planning. Preference will be accorded to individuals currently active in graduate level teaching and research who are eligible for sabbatical leave or who desire to take a temporary leave of absence.
