IAEA Panel considers procedures for establishing safe limits of radioactive substances in the sea

Abstract

In November a panel of experts called together by the International Atomic Energy Agency conducted a five-day meeting in Vienna during which they considered procedures for establishing safe limits for radionuclides in the sea. The six participating panel members came from France, India, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. In addition, ten observers from eight countries and eight representatives of five regional and international organizations were present.
