Six universities elected to UCAR membership

Purdue University, the California Institute of Technology, McGill University, the University of Nevada, Oregon State University, and Utah State University have been elected to membership in the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, bringing the total number of UCAR members to 37.

McGill University of Montreal, Canada, is the second university to be elected to international membership in UCAR International members are elected after an invitation to join has been extended by UCAR, and they must meet the same criteria for membership as U.S. members.
