Research positions for university visitors at LSI

The Lunar Science Institute, a center for advanced research on lunar studies, has a number of openings available for Visiting Scientists and Visiting Graduate Fellows. With prior notice, the institute can help arrange access to the lunar data and research capabilities available at the neighboring NASA Manned Spacecraft Center. A small staff of resident scientists provides continuity to the institute programs and assists Visiting Scientists in obtaining access to and using MSC facilities.

Programs currently under way include not only geophysical research on lunar samples, but also analysis of the lunar photos obtained from lunar orbit, lunar surface morphology, genesis of the moon, terrestrial geology and geophysics, planetology, and magnetospheric and plasma physics.
