Isochron West, a journal on radioactive age dating throughout the western U.S., has been expanded to cover material gathered from the western hemisphere.
This periodical is published approximately three times a year by the New Mexico State Bureau of Mines and Mineral Resources. According to Don H. Baker, Jr.. Director of the New Mexico bureau, ‘Many geologists have expressed a need for a publication that would list all isotopic age determinations in order to keep up with findings in this rapidly expanding field. Many dates are never published and, for all practical purposes, are lost, while others are not published for years.’
