Charge Transfer Conference

The Center for Earth and Planetary Physics, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, is sponsoring an informal one-day conference on the theory and observation of charge transfer in minerals on Saturday, April 21, 1973, following the Fifty-Fourth Annual Meeting of AGU. This conference is part of the Center's activity in bringing together scientists from across the traditional barriers between scientific disciplines. The Center is a joint venture between Harvard's Division of Engineering and Applied Physics and the Department of Geological Sciences, and it includes geologists, solid-earth geophysicists, atmospheric physicists, oceanographers, and meteorologists. In this case, it is hoped that mineralogists and geophysicists together with solid-state physicists and chemists will acquaint each other with some related problems and solutions in their respective fields.
