The Twenty—Fourth Alaskan Science Conference will be held at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, from August 15 to 17, 1973. The theme of the conference is Climate of the Arctic. The main topics for papers to be presented at the conference are: the climate now; climates of the past; future climates; international climatology; climatic hazards; climate and energy; climate and transportation; climate, cities, and houses; climate and communications; climate, plants, and animals; climate and agriculture; climate and health; and climate and leisure. Deadline for submission of titles for abstracts is June 1 and deadline for abstracts is July 1.
